FAQ
Why does my wet granulation spray gun clog with HPMC binder solution?
HPMC solutions skin over as solvent evaporates at the nozzle tip. Anti-deposition gun bodies, tip flushing routines and quick-detach nozzles reduce clogging; bore size should be matched to viscosity and solid content.
Can the binder spray gun work with a peristaltic pump system?
Yes — the guns are designed for pump-fed closed-loop addition, with spray rate following the granulation torque curve for endpoint control.
Pressure atomization or air atomization for binders?
Combination is best: pressure atomization carries the liquid into the bed, air atomization breaks the sheets into fine droplets. The ELS-SFPQ series combines both in one gun.
