Which nozzle size should I choose for film vs sugar coating?
Film coating typically runs φ0.8–1.0 mm at lower spray rates; sugar and suspension-heavy coatings run φ1.0–1.2 mm. Final choice depends on your solid content and pan load — send the coating formulation for sizing.
Can your coating spray gun replace my imported tablet coater gun?
Yes — guns are built to your coater’s lance mounting, spray bar pitch and fluid/air connections as a drop-in replacement.
How do I reduce tablet coating weight variation?
Three controls: stable atomization (constant air/liquid ratio), consistent gun speed and overlap (multi-gun swinging on large pans), and clean, correctly sized nozzles. All three are addressed in the BY series design.
